Four-Time American Music Awards Winner’s “My Worlds Acoustic” Album Will Benefit Children’s Miracle Network’s 170 Hospitals

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Children's Miracle Network (www.childrensmiraclenetwork.org), a charity that raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals across North America, announced today a fundraising campaign with Justin Bieber, winner of four awards at this year’s American Music Awards (AMA).

Bieber will donate a portion of his proceeds from his new “My Worlds Acoustic” album to Children’s Miracle Network. The album will hit Walmart stores and Walmart.com on Nov. 26 (Black Friday). “My Worlds Acoustic” will feature “Pray,” which Bieber performed at the AMAs on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010.

"I am in the position to give back thanks to my fans and God,” said Bieber. “I wrote ‘Pray’ thinking I wanted to help others and I feel like I have a responsibility to do so. What is the point of doing all this if you can’t make a difference in others’ lives? This album is a gift to my fans and the money raised from it allows us all to help out."

Bieber initially formed a relationship with Children’s Miracle Network in September 2009 when he performed at the 3^rd annual Island Def Jam Rocks Times Square for Children’s Miracle Network at the Hard Rock Café in New York City.
